Knock knock

A loud thundering knock at the door woke us up at 7:15 am. Bernie hardly even moved while Mar went to the door. A very nice policeman explained to us that overnight parking was not allowed on the beach access. We got permission for daytime parking, and fell back to sleep pretty fast.

Later we spent the afternoon at the beach. It was overcast but that meant less sun, so that was fine by us. Mar read her book while Bernie walked along the water looking for special things. She found a bottle cap with a code inside, a cool spiral shell, a pretty purple shell, and dog poop (no, she didn't bring that back with her). Then we had a snack of Clementine oranges. Bernie went back to exploring the coast and Mar continued to read. Then it started to rain so we ran back to Bella and decided to depart.

We needed to go to Camping World and found the one in Myrtle Beach SC. We knew they would be closed but thought we would stay in their parking lot until morning. When we got there we had a great surprise. They had full hookups!! Yes, full hookups at Camping World!!

Bernie was really beginning to feel unwell. Her temp was 101.8 so she took some Tylenol and went to bed, hoping to feel better in the morning.
