Ice cream social

The first part of our day was spent taking care of Bella. Bernie did a major cleaning in the bathroom. With so many nooks and crannies, it took her half the day to get it all done. Then it was time for fun …

It isn’t every day you get to have ice cream while listening to live music sitting in your favorite lawn chair, but that is what we got to do today. As part of the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne IN, the Indiana-Purdue University hosted an ice cream social tonight with music by the Fort Wayne Area Community Band.

We sat on the lawn with hundreds of other people, enjoying the music and our fifty-cent per scoop ice cream with chocolate sprinkles.

Then we found a 24 hour gym because Bernie wanted to work off that ice cream. It turns out they don't keep them staffed 24 hours so she couldn’t go in. We tried to find another place but had no success. We stayed in the gym parking lot for the night.
