We woke up in downtown Elkhart IN, with the river on our right and downtown on our left. We hung out for a while when we first got up. Mar was working and Bernie was doing some woodwork.
A little later we looked out our window and saw a coffee shop called The Grind. We decided to go take a look. Upon entering we were struck by this hip place. There was cool artwork on the walls, comfy couches, and bookshelves with books, magazines, and games. We could have spent hours there.
Then we walked to the Rive
While we were there
Bernie went to a class to learn how to make windchimes with recycled silverware. Angie was the teacher
Next we went to a free concert by the Elkhart Municipal Band at McNaughton Park. We had a picnic while listening to the band. The park is on the river and covered by trees. After the concert we walked the park near the river. It was a beautiful nigh
We then went to the RV Museum to park for the night.
